I was born to a farming family in southwestern Oklahoma and have lived in Canada since 2005. I have two beautiful children and one cool cat!

My very favourite places to spend my time are on my mat and in my garden. Oklahoma State University is where I received a Batchelor of Science in Horticulture in 2005.  I since have worked as a greenhouse grower and later moved on to be an arborist. I currently work for the city parks department.

My yoga practice began in my early 20’s. During the time I lived in Fort Mcmurray my practice was integral to my life and carried me through some difficult years. In 2017 I took my 200 hr YTT with Laura Martini. I then had the honour of teaching at a recovery and addictions facility which was filling in so many ways.

Revelstoke is now home and I love it! My practice is growing as I teach at Balu and the yoga students of Revelstoke share their light.
