For me, yoga is less about becoming more flexible or achieving the perfect posture and more about exploring who we are within ourselves and within the world. Since beginning my journey in 2004 after graduating from the U of A, I have completed over 900+ hours of certified training across Canada, India, and Hawaii, specializing in Ashtanga, Maya, and Sattva traditions.

While my early years were defined by hours of rigorous practice, becoming a mother of three radically transformed my practice, shifting it off the mat and into daily life. Today, I prioritize daily meditation and asana, grounding myself in a place of mindfulness, softness, patience, and compassion. I am guided by my mentors Nicki Doane, Judi Mirus and Harmony Slater.

As a teacher, I offer a gentle, accepting space tailored to the individual. I view yoga as a tool to share, explore and accept our unique physical and energetic realities and to come together as a community.
