Cam started meditating after connecting with the Theravāda Buddhist tradition while on a trip to Thailand in 2013. The experiences he had in South East Asia were the initial spark that ignited Cam’s interest the spiritual path.
When back in Canada, as the path continued to unfold, Cam found that meditation was the best medicine for overcoming big hurdles in life. The real-life tangible benefits of meditation became clear to Cam 5 years ago during a period of particular life challenges. He has maintained a daily practice ever since.
Today, Cam lives a happy simple life in Revelstoke, where he snowboards, practices yoga, and meditates outdoors as much as possible.
Cam’s intention for teaching meditation is to introduce approachable concepts in a way that excites his students to practice on their own. The goal is gradual sustainability for a beneficial daily practice.
