After spending a number of years working and travelling, Megan is now happy to call Revelstoke home. Megan has been practicing yoga since 2004 and has studied under a number of inspirational teachers.

With a solid practice rooted in Ashtanga yoga, Megan’s practice has branched out to include a broad range of yoga traditions.  Megan completed her yoga teacher training in 2009 through the World Conscious Yoga Family studying Akhanda Yoga with Yogi Vishvketu from India. Megan was honored to have such an authentic teacher and has dedicated herself to the practice and study of yoga. In 2010 Megan completed (iRest) training, studying the path of Yoga Nidra and continues to seek out opportunities to grow.

In recent years, Megan’s practice and teaching style have been greatly influenced by the Yin practice and power of the breath. Megan aims to evoke a sense of wellness through her classes, allowing students to flow from one posture to the next, finding stillness within the deepth of each pose and a deeper awareness of self. Megan encourages students to take their practice off the mat and to incorporate the yogi philosophy into their everyday life!
